PRAYER FOR VISION FOR THE FUTURE

Everlasting God,
We are facing a time of change and uncertainty.
It is frightening, challenging and exciting.
We are anxious about the future and
afraid that the past will be forgotten.
Help us to put aside our anxieties and insecurities
so that we can grow together.
Enthuse us with a vision of your kingdom,
fill us with your love and excite us
with the possibilities for mission and outreach.

As we talk together and listen to one another,
give us patience and understanding;
give us the courage to take risks in your name;
and as we discover your will for our community,
give us wisdom, humility and faith.

In all we do, O Lord, may Your Kingdom come,
and Your will be done.
